Cross-country
At Appin Public School, our annual Cross Country event provides students with the opportunity to challenge themselves, demonstrate resilience and build school spirit through participation in physical activity. Students across years 2 to 6 and K-2 take part, encouraging teamwork, perseverance and healthy competition while proudly representing their sport houses.
ANZAC Day
Each year, Appin Public School proudly commemorates ANZAC Day, providing students with the opportunity to learn about and reflect on the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. Through classroom learning, commemorative activities and our school service, students develop a deeper understanding of courage, mateship and respect while honouring those who have served our country.
Easter Hat Parade
Our Easter Hat Parade is a much-loved tradition at Appin Public School, bringing together students, staff and families to celebrate creativity, community and school spirit. Students enjoy designing and showcasing their Easter hats while participating in a fun and engaging whole-school event that highlights imagination, participation and connection across our school community.

Join us for our annual Meet the Team Assembly and classroom tour. This special event is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with our dedicated staff, hear about our vision for learning, and experience the vibrant culture of our school.
Swimming Carnival
Our annual Swimming Carnival is a highlight of the school year! Held at an Olympic-sized swimming pool, this exciting event provides students with the opportunity to showcase their skills, compete in a range of events, and most importantly, have fun.
With strong house spirit, teamwork and plenty of encouragement from staff and families, the day celebrates participation, perseverance and school pride.
P&C Annual General meeting
Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held twice each term in the school staff room. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

Wooglemai Leadership Day brings student leaders together for a day of collaboration, confidence-building and teamwork. The event empowers students to strengthen their leadership skills and make a positive impact in our school community.
